The Sadhana Education Society's L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce is located at a vantage point at Santa Cruz (West) and has virtually become the cornerstone for academic excellence. The building is well equipped with large lecture halls, tutorial rooms, library cum-reading room, canteen, health centre, audio - visual room, a full-fledged computer centre and an auditorium.The College also has a gurukul-a unique open classroom.

The Sadhana Education Society, which was established in 1961, is a pioneering educational society in Mumbai. It set up the L. S.Raheja College of Arts & Commerce in June, 1980 with a generous financial support from philanthrophists. From a tiny acorn, it has grown into a mighty oak tree.

The College takes pride in creating a friendly teacher-student rapport. The students with their overflowing zeal and spontaneous enthusiasm constantly enrich and fuel the drive of their teachers to excel at what they already have been doing --- imparting quality education.

The College strives to be at the fountainhead of education in the fields of Arts, Commerce and Management Studies. Setting new boundaries, conquering new horizons. Over the years, it has achieved this mutually satisfying relationship with striking results. Our students have opted for higher studies making it amongst a handful of Colleges offering research guidance right up to the postgraduate levels in M.Com., M.Com. (by research), M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees in the subject of Commerce (Business Policy and Strategic Management). The College has the unique distinction of producing thus far fifteen Ph.D. and thirteen M.Phil research scholars.

Quantitatively speaking, the right physical ambience of the College increases the student's receptivity. To give the student's the right blend of educational and extra-curricular facilities. The College is equipped with linguaphone, multimedia projectors, over-head projectors, networking facilities, a network resource centre, a website, a state-of-the-art audio-visual room, personal computers, printers, CD writer, visual presenter, internet facility and an up-to-date reference section. The College imparts computer training furthering the student's career prospects. In short, the students are "programmed" to excel.

The College office, which is systematically developed with computerised procedures has work-stations for nonstop excitement at work for its staff.

The library, which is fully computerised, shines through like a beacon of information. Measuring over 3,000 sq.ft it has a wealth of books & CD's to its credit. It is the life-line of information to students, providing them with reference material for their indepth studies.

The College has a full-fledged Counselling Cell, Women Development Cell, Placement Cell and Grievance Redressal Cell functioning under a trained counselor and ably guided by well-known psychotherapists.

Meeting ground. Breaking the ice and also a fiercely guarded home turf. Strictly for students only is the College canteen which has a menu that satiates the voracious appetite of students after a hard day's work.
