CA Mahesh Shriram Sathe
Assistant Professor in the Accountancy Department.

He is B.Com. F.C.A. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant since 1984. He is teaching in degree college since 1984. He joined L.S.Raheja College of Arts & Commerce in 1998. He has more than twenty-five years of practicing and teaching experience. He is also a recognized Post-Graduate teacher in Accountancy. He runs his accounting, auditing and tax consultation practice under the name and style of M/s M.S.Sathe & Co., Chartered Accountants. He gives practical training to college students in accounting, auditing and taxation. Some students are doing C.A. articleship under his guidance. He has written a book on Auditing for T.Y.B.Com. students which is published by M/s Reliable Publications, Mumbai. Its latest edition published during the end of June, 2010 was entirely sold out in just three months by September, 2010. At present he is the Professor-in-charge of the Students’ Council for 2010 – 11.

He was instrumental in starting Felicitation of First Class Graduates of College on Teachers’ Day, Felicitation of teaching and support staff on completing Twentyfive Years of dedicated service, Celebration of “ Unmesh Festival “, Paying tribute to legendary singer Lt. Mohammed Rafi on his death anniversary on 31st July every year by organizing singing competition “ Meri Aawaz Suno “, celebration of “Guru Poornima“ etc.

He is a poet and his lyrics are approved by Prasar Bharati. He is also an approved music composer jointly with his wife under the name “ Swarada – Mahesh “, approved by Prasar Bharati. Songs written and composed by him are regularly broadcasted from different All India Radio Stations. He has written and composed song on “ UNMESH FESTIVAL “ and on “ RAHEJA COLLEGE “.


CA Hrishikesh Wandrekar
M.Com, FCA – Accountancy Department
Assistant professor and practicing chartered accountant.

Hrishikesh Wandrekar is a practicing Chartered Accountant, having a teaching experience of 7 years. He has also conducted lectures for the office of Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) and for the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). He is also an amateur bird-watcher and a avid trekker.
