Since the past 20 years, the Gujarati Sahitya Mandal has been an integral part of L. S. Raheja College and has made tremendous progress.albeit step by step. The never ending and tireless efforts of the degree and junior college staff memebers and the immense fervour of the students hhad made this possible. The activities of the mandal begin with the inaugural function - a grand affair where the presence of great personalities like Suren Thakar, Hiten Anandpara, Asha Purohit, Jatin Barot, Shobit Desai and others is looked forward to. Various competitions like essay writing, story telling, elocution, are held and prizes are awarded to the winning students. The spirit of Gujarat in all its focus is brought to Raheja College through the efforts of the GSM. Raheja week without Garba Utsav and a food festival is incomplete.

And of course, all this would not be possible without the support extended to the Mandal by the woman of substance - our principal Dr. Minu Madlani
