The activities in the academic year 2010-2011 started with the inaugural function. The program was in July 2010 and resource person was Prof. Ms. Jyothi N.K. from Jaihind College, who spoke on “How to face interviews.”
An inter-collegiate workshop by Dr. Avinash DeSouza was organized in September 2010. He spoke on Performance Appraisal.
A one day workshop for Psychology Professors was organized on revision of syllabi for T.Y.B.A. Psychology Papers V, VI, VII and IX in December 2010.
An educational trip was organized for students to “Thane Mental Hospital” in February 2011.
A picnic to Shangrilla Resort was arranged in February 2011.
The Manas Annual Day and Farewell for T.Y.B.A. students was held on 12th February 2011.
A parent teacher meeting was held twice a year, one in the beginning of the first term and another at the end of it, to give feedback to them about their ward’s progress.
The success of the Association activities was a joint effort of students and faculty. The benefit in terms of insight and learning was mutual.
