Commcerce Association was formed in the year 2007-2008 and is headed by the department of commerce.

An Essay competition was held on 30th September which offered the following subjects

-Globalisation of Indian Industries
-Service sector Engine of Growth to Indian Economy
-Multinational Corporation in India
-Financial reforms in retail banking.

The results were declared and the winners were
1st prize - Miss Nafisa Khan - TyBcom C
2nd Prize - Miss Bhumika Bhatt - TyBCom A
3rd Prize - Miss Afreen Khan - FyBCom C

An Elocution competition was conducted on 18th September. The topics selected were
-Retailing boom in India
-New forms of Advertising in India
-Telemarketing
-New consumer Education in India
-Changing Face of modern business
-Social responsibilities of business

Making of Advertising Campaign competition had different forms like press publicity, TV publicity. The products offered were
-Fairness cream for men
-Anti-aging cream
-Gym advertising
-Laptop
-Coconut water

The winners of Elocution Competition were

2nd Mr. Saik Ali FyBCom C
Ms. Afreen Khan FyBcom C
Mr Ajay Janwa FyBCom C

For Poster Making Competition had following
topics offered to students
- Global Warming due to Industrialisation
- Effect of advertising on children
- Women Entrpreneurs
- Technology in banking
The winners were
1st Ms. Deepika Shell FYBA
2nd Nafisa Khan TyBCom. C

An Industrial visit to Parle Biscuit Factory had an overwhelming response by members. Students from Commerce and Arts faculties joined and had an insight in to the actual production process and organization structure.

A question and answer session was conducted with the co-ordination of Mr. Ajay Singh. The last function was a Consumer Quiz "Grahak Jago"
