Gymkhana

The students participated in various individual and team events at the inter-collegiate level. The football team reached the 1st round at the university competition and won the 1st prize at Rizvi Law College Inter-collegiate competition. The cricket team performed admirably and consistently throughout the year. It reached the 3rd round at the University level. It also reached the finals of the Bengal League Cricket Tournament at the Triangular series organized by M.M.K. College. It also won the 1st prize at ‘Gully Cricket” event, held at R.A. Podar College Enigma festival. Azam Tanwar participated in the Gatorade Pacers 2008, clocking a top bowling speed of 102 km/hr.

The table tennis players also performed well at the University level. The Gymkhana also organized an inter-class tournaments in December 2007 in the following disciplines; Cricket, football, table tennis, carom and chess. Students participated enthusiastically in these events.

The gymkhana had a successful year!
